GIFFELS-WEBSTER ADDS THREE LICENSED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS TO MACOMB COUNTY OFFICE
Giffels-Webster Engineers, Inc., the premier civil engineering and surveying firm in Southeast Michigan, has hired three licensed Professional Engineers (P.E.s) to continue strengthening the capabilities of their Macomb County office in Washington Township and broaden their scope of services for customers in the area.
Eric J. Ostling, P.E., is a project manager responsible for overseeing one of the Macomb office design teams for private development and municipal projects. Eric has 12 years of civil engineering experience in the public and private sectors designing residential and commercial developments, sanitary sewer and water systems, and detention/retention facilities, as well as improving public drains and conducting wetland impact studies and floodplain analyses. He combines his technical knowledge with experience in project management, construction and surveying. Eric is a graduate of Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and is licensed with the State of Michigan as a Professional Engineer.
Tim Currie, P.E., P.S., is a senior engineer in the Macomb office responsible for residential, commercial, and municipal site design involving grading, utilities, storm water quality, storm water detention, and permit coordination. Tim has 21 years of engineering and surveying experience, including the design of pump stations and septic fields for commercial and residential properties, floodplain analysis, and site plan design for subdivision and condominium developments. A licensed Professional Engineer and Surveyor through the State of Michigan, Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Lawrence Technological University and a Bachelor of Science degree in surveying from Michigan Technological University.
Scott J. Chabot, P.E., is a senior engineer responsible for residential and commercial design of utilities, paving, site grading, floodplain analysis and storm water management. Scott has seven years of experience as a project design engineer and a construction materials testing technician. He is a graduate of Lawrence Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and is licensed through the State of Michigan as a Professional Engineer and a certified Michigan Department of Environmental Quality storm water operator. Scott is a past winner of the Student of the Year award in civil engineering by the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers.
