GIFFELS-WEBSTER ENGINEERS APPOINTS LOREN CRANDELL AS PRESIDENT AND CEO
The board of directors of civil engineering and surveying firm Giffels-Webster Engineers announced that Loren Crandell was selected to become the next president and CEO effective January 1. In this position, Crandell oversees the day-to-day management of GWE. He succeeds Keith Mayer, who remains with the firm as a principal and chairman of the board.
“Loren has always demonstrated decisive leadership, and I’m confident he’ll continue to strategically grow the firm by leveraging our unique public and private experience and commitment to maximize the return on investment for our clients,” said Mayer.
Crandell is a registered Professional Engineer in Michigan and has been with Giffels-Webster for 20 years, with previous positions such as project manager, principal, and executive vice president. He has expertise in the engineering, design, and construction of municipal utilities, pavement, drainage, and site development projects. Crandell holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University and is a member of the Engineering Society of Detroit and the Michigan Water Environment Association. He resides in Grand Blanc.
