GIFFELS-WEBSTER ENGINEERS APPOINTS MARLIN RUBIN AS DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Civil engineering and surveying firm Giffels-Webster Engineers has announced the appointment of Marlin Rubin to director of business development. In this role, Rubin will lead Giffels-Webster in diversifying its client base and generating new business opportunities.
"Marlin's business relationships, acute knowledge of the industry, and enthusiasm will be key in Giffels-Webster remaining at the forefront of new developments and building on our competitive edge in the region," said Loren Crandell, president of Giffels-Webster.
Rubin comes to Giffels-Webster with more than 30 years of professional experience with a background in planning, real estate acquisition, government affairs, and business development. His past positions include county planner, community relations director, real estate acquisitioner, property specialist, and business developer.
Rubin holds a master’s degree in urban planning and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Wayne State University. He is a member of Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, Michigan Association of Planning, American Planning Association, Building Industry Association of Southeastern Michigan, and the Builders Owners and Management Association. He resides in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
