GIFFELS-WEBSTER ENGINEERS APPOINTS MICHAEL DARGA AS SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Civil engineering and surveying firm Giffels-Webster Engineers has announced the appointment of Michael Darga to senior project manager. In this role, Darga will manage the planning, design, and construction of municipal projects.

“We maintain a balance of public and private work at Giffels-Webster, and municipal engineering is at the core of our public project capabilities,” said Giffels-Webster Engineers President Loren Crandell. “Mike's technical expertise and extensive relationships in Wayne County and the surrounding region will further strengthen our public works presence."

Darga comes to Giffels-Webster with more than 20 years of engineering, administration, planning, grant writing, and construction experience. His past positions include division design engineer and director of transportation.

Darga holds a master’s degree in construction engineering and management from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering from Lawrence Institute of Technology. He is licensed with the State of Michigan as a Professional Engineer, serves on the board of directors for Friends of the Rouge, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He resides in Northville, Michigan.
