Every day, I am fortunate to have landed in a profession that I thoroughly enjoy. I am inspired by civil engineering as it is one of the few professions where I can use my technical training to touch all aspects of a community and improve its quality of life.
Here at Giffels-Webster I create a supportive environment where my staff can make decisions, accept responsibility for their results and take risks. I am motivated to solve organizational and technical challenges in a collaborative environment.
I am most proud of having the opportunity to use my professional knowledge to assist in community and charitable organizations, including Gleaners Community Food Bank, Salvation Army and my church.
Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with family, specifically drinking wine on the porch with my wife and reading to my two grandchildren.
