Giffels Webster Receives Fourth Consecutive Top Workplace Award

DETROIT, Nov. 9, 2020 – Giffels Webster, a Detroit-headquartered consulting firm specializing in community infrastructure and land development solutions for public and private clients, has been recognized by the Detroit Free Press as one of Michigan’s Top Workplaces of 2020.  The Top Workplace designation is the fourth in a row for Giffels Webster, who has been recognized as a national standard setting for eight years.

“Receiving such an honor is truly humbling,” said Scott Clein, president and partner at Giffels Webster. “Maintaining a great environment in which people feel supported and encouraged to grow requires the hard work of everyone within the company. To do so despite the unprecedented challenges we have all faced in 2020 is remarkable.”

Top Workplaces are nominated by employees via an anonymous online survey managed by Detroit Free Press partner Energage. The survey measures how well Michigan workers are motivated and satisfied. Topics include company culture, benefits, workplace communication, flexibility and more.

“The significance of this designation is twofold,” said Clein. “Not only does it reflect our commitment to providing the right environment as a company, but we also receive useful feedback and input, which helps drive ongoing growth and improvements across the firm.”

Top Workplaces are identified in three categories based on company size. Giffels Webster is in the “Small Company” category with 92 employees across their three Michigan offices in Detroit, Birmingham and Washington Township.
